This workshop will explore the world of Carnatic rhythms! Delve into its history, language, and structure… alongside with finding creative ways to build rhythmic compositions that are both musical and unique to you!

A little about Rohith –

As a vocalist, composer/arranger, and percussionist, Rohith has performed with internationally acclaimed and award-winning artists such as A.R. Rahman, Zakir Hussain, Shreya Ghoshal, John McLaughlin, Shankar Mahadevan, and Tigran Hamasyan. Rohith teaches Carnatic vocal music, theory, and applications throughout the United States.

On October 1, 2019, Rohith released a collaborative duo album, Hamsa, with violinist Layth Sidiq.
